Games are played at the Council Bluffs Recreation Complex (2900 Richard Downing Avenue) or Bahnsen Park (1720 Ave L). Stationary bases provided.

2012 Summer Softball Registration Form
Download the Spring/Summer Softball Registration form and turn in to the Parks & Recreation Office after Feb 1st. Deadline is when leagues or filled of March 18th, whichever comes first.
Spring/Summer Leagues

Teams will play 1 game a night during a 12-14 game season, depending on the weather.

Team numbers are limited.

Men's and Co-Ed Leagues
(Players may not play on more than one team in the same league. Players may not play in two different divisions - D players must stay with D teams, E with E, etc.)

$300/team plus Umpire Fees

Games begin the week of April 15th.

Registrations will not be accepted until after February 1st.

There will be a mandatory coach meeting, Wednesday, April 4, at 6:00p.m. at Comminity Hall (205 S. Main).
Fall Leagues

Teams will play double headers for 7 weeks, a 12-14 game season depending on the weather.

Adult Softball Rule Book
These rules reflect clarifications of the USSSA rule book, which is the main set of rules for this league.
USSSA rules will apply to the entire league.
Rules Change re: Balls
Players must use the following:
1. Men& Women: 12 inch, "Classic M"
In 2011 Co-Ed teams will just hit a 12 inch ball for both men & Women.
2. As of June 1, 2009, optic yellow balls are required.
No carry-in food or beverage is allowed into the Council Bluffs Recreation Complex.
All parks, including the Recreation Complex, are alcohol-free public facilities.
Iowa Smokefree Air Act--smoking is prohibited on the fields, in the dugouts, in and around the bleachers and concessions areas at all times.
