Our Mission:
Council Bluffs Parks, Recreation, and Public Property Department is dedicated to the enhancement and promotion of quality of life by satisfying and responding to the needs of the community by providing:

Our hours are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday and we are CLOSED Saturday's/Sunday's & Holiday's.

Youth Indoor Soccer
Parks & Recreation is offering a Youth Indoor Soccer League for youth in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. This is a developmental league that will focus on the building of basketball skills like kicking, passing, shooting, along with sharing, teamwork, and having fun! Youth Indoor Soccer will begin 13th of March due to inclement weather pushing back the Youth Basketball league and gym availability. It will end on April 24th.
Spot Shot Basketball Shooting Contest
The Iowa Park and Recreation Association and the Council Bluffs Park and Recreation Department are sponsoring the annual I.P.R.A. youth basketball "Spot Shot" contest. Boys and girls have 60 seconds to dribble from half court and shoot from seven different locations from the floor. Separate distances are used for each group. Bonus points are awarded for shooting once or twice at all of the spots. Two rounds are shot and the points from both rounds are totaled together for the total.
